Terms of Service
The rules for using Trusul.
Last updated: 2025
By creating an account or using Trusul, you agree to these terms. Trusul is an early-stage product under active development - these terms will be expanded as features like paid subscriptions and third-party sign-in go live.
The Service
Trusul analyzes news articles, claims, and online content and returns a credibility score, risk verdict, and supporting explanation to help you decide whether to trust or share it. Trusul is a decision-support tool, not a fact-checking authority - see our Disclaimer for the full picture of what the tool can and can't do.
Your Account
- You must provide an accurate email address and keep your password secure.
- You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
- One account per person - don't create multiple accounts to bypass Free plan usage limits.
- If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, use Forgot Password immediately and contact us.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Trusul to generate or spread misinformation, harassment, or illegal content.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, usage limits, or authentication.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the service without permission.
- Submit content that infringes on someone else's rights or violates applicable law.
- Interfere with the normal operation of the service or attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
Plans & Billing
The Free plan is live today, with a limited number of daily checks. Pro and Business plans are currently preview-only - you can see planned pricing and features on the Pricing page and preview the upgrade flow on the Billing page, but no payment is processed and no charge occurs today. When paid plans launch, these terms will be updated with billing, cancellation, and refund details before any real payment is taken.
Intellectual Property
Trusul's name, branding, design, and underlying software are owned by Trusul. You retain all rights to the content you submit for analysis - we don't claim ownership of it, and we use it only to provide the service to you as described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Trusul is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any trust score, verdict, or explanation is accurate, complete, or free of error - see our full Disclaimer page. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trusul is not liable for any decision you make, or harm you experience, based on using the service - including decisions to trust, share, or act on content that Trusul analyzed. Always verify important claims independently before acting on them.
Termination
You can stop using Trusul at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or security controls.
Governing Law
Trusul is currently operated as an early-stage product. Formal governing law and jurisdiction will be finalized and published here as the business completes its legal registration ahead of public launch.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as Trusul grows. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes (like the launch of paid billing) will be clearly communicated.
